TRAININGS
ACE Neurodiversity
An enlightening workshop on the long-term impacts of ACEs (Adverse Childhood Experiences) on brain development and the crucial role a supportive environment plays in on the mind. We share the social and emotional reality for those with neuro differences also known as neurodiversity. This workshop provids valuable insights for educators, caregivers, and community members offering peer support to those impacted by ACEs
Creative Intelligence
This 6-week workshop is designed to revitalize your innate creative intelligence, often stifled by limited access to arts education or daily creative outlets. We've teamed up with visual and teaching artist Katie Schuessler from INNER VISIONS in New York City to guide you through the creative process and emphasize the crucial role of creativity in brain health. You'll learn how creative expression can help rehabilitate the brain from the effects of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and enhance overall mental well-being. We are all born creators, capable of manifesting our imaginations into reality. In this course, we will heal, grow, and tap into our creative intelligence to transform the world around us
Mind Your Mind
Gain the knowledge to identify bullies, narcissists, and other oppressive personality types that can cause significant psychological and emotional harm if left unchecked. It’s crucial for neurodivergent, creative, and heart-centered individuals to recognize these harmful behaviors, as these types often exploit your generosity, creativity, and emotions. In this workshop, you’ll learn essential self-protection skills, enabling you to live and create with a sense of safety, security, and well-being. Recommended for ages 16 and up.
Heart Intelligence
Discover how to cultivate heart intelligence to build mental toughness and navigate challenging times with greater ease. We understand how difficult it can be to stay heart-centered during turbulent periods, which is why we're excited to introduce Pierre Debar from HeartMath! As a certified HeartMath instructor, Pierre has worked with clients in the NFL, NBA, NHL, and even Olympic champions, coaching them to enhance resilience and mental agility through the power of the heart. He knows what it takes to be tough and firmly believes in the transformative power of heart intelligence!
Humanism 101
In this class we will discuss Humanism and how our society needs it more now than ever. We will discuss Rankism as the foundation of oppressive thought systems including racism, ableism, ageism, sexism, mentalism, homophobia, transphobia, and hazing. In this workshop, you'll explore the insidious nature of Rankism and how it manifests in our social and emotional lives and impacts our brain health. We'll delve into how the school system often teaches and perpetuates Rankism, creating unjust disadvantages for those who learn and create differently. You'll have the opportunity to reflect on how Rankism may affect your relationships and community, and together, we'll brainstorm ways to overcome it to protect and uphold the dignity of all life and put the human back in humanism.
Emotional Intelligence
Emotional Intelligence (EQ) is our capacity to understand how we interact with ourselves, others, and our environment. With this understanding, we can adjust our behaviors to improve our relationships and positively impact society. Reflect on how the relationships within your community and organization shape the world around you. Join us as we explore fresh perspectives and embrace the idea that it's okay to change your mind.
6 Human Needs
Every day, the decisions you make and the actions you take are shaped by your thoughts, feelings, and habits—often without much conscious reflection. However, these choices are deeply influenced by the 6 Human Needs, which form the foundation of motivation in human psychology. By learning to identify and understand your own needs, you can better grasp the needs of those you serve.
